The Budget Conscious – PASS

The standard cardboard board that comes in the core box works just fine.  If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

The Reveler – BUY

You’ll never play this game without this board.  In fact, you might even throw the original away just to prove your point.  When all your friends come over they MUST be suitably impressed by your massively over-sized board.  Now if only they made the cards and tokens 20% bigger too…
