Excited by the knowledge that all Massive Darkness pledges had left the factory, the anticipation among backers on social media was palpable. Those in Europe were the first to receive their pledges and the wave of merry un-boxing videos and “pile of loot” pics had begun to spread. Unfortunately, folks started to notice something that was a bit off-putting: the print quality on some of the cards was not as expected.
As the social media grumblings rose, CMON was quick to react (on the weekend!) and resolve the situation. It turns out the factory made a printing error that affected any cards with a black ability text box. Since this was a relatively small number of cards, the quality control team missed it. Long story short, CMON will be mailing out replacement cards to everyone free of charge and has also provided us with “print ‘n play” versions until the replacements arrive.
We apologize for this problem, and want to assure our customers that we will make things right. We are printing packs with corrected copies of all the affected cards (24 in total, encompassing the core box and some expansions) and we will send the appropriate number of packs to all our backers as soon as possible so they can replace the problematic cards. We don’t yet have a clear timeline, but we’ll keep you updated as more information is made available.

- Black Plague Crossover Kit – 2 cards (H026, H028)
So your gaming doesn’t suffer until the replacement packs arrive, we are providing in the links below the proper print files for the 24 affected cards. This way you can either use them as references, or make home prints to use for now.
